Installation Tips for Best Performance:

• Avoid Metallic Surfaces: To ensure optimal performance, do not install the receiver on or next to a metallic surface. If installation near metal is unavoidable, use a coaxial cable (RG58) to bring the antenna clear of the metal.

• Antenna Setup: Terminate the coaxial cable at a 434MHz antenna. We recommend using the Circuit Level external antenna (ANT-01) for best results.

• Protection Near Salt Water: If installing near salt water, wrap the Antenna BNC connector (ANT-01) in self-amalgamating tape or coat the internal pin with silicone grease to protect against corrosion.

• Optimize Range: If the range is poor and interference has been ruled out, try moving or re-orienting the receiver for better performance.
